Letter, 1918 December 17, [Paris], to Herbert B. Brougham, Paris.

Wilson responds to Brougham's letter of the previous day which had urged him on to establish a democratic League of Nations and warned him of the difficult forces opposing him. Wilson states that he is aware of such forces and "will stand fast."
